Founded in 1989, the Columbine Figure Skating Club (CFSC) is a member of US Figure Skating and is affiliated with the Mile High Figure Skating Association. Columbine's home ice is at the Apex Center, a multi-use building (which features a water park, 3 gymnasiums, climbing wall, and weight-conditioning area, as well as 2 NHL ice rinks) which is part of the Apex Park and Recreation District.
Columbine Figure Skating Club is here to encourage participation in the sport of figure skating by all persons. We encourage the advancement of our members in the various aspects of figure skating while promoting and cultivating a spirit of mutual respect and support among figure skaters. Columbine is proud to educate and inform the public, and particularly the youth of the surrounding community, regarding figure skating with emphasis on its pleasures, healthful aspects, and its value as an activity that contributes to the development of fitness and character in the youth of the community.
